Day 65 – What I feel like saying…

One of my male Mentor who teaches people how to honour women told us that the world was left to the men to lead and see what happens? More destruction. 

He said–But if we honour women to lead with us, then that can be changed. Perhaps a much loving world will be formed. 

I stood there in awe. Here the men are honouring women to lead with them… And I’m wondering if I’m ready. 

Often when asked to lead, I procrastinate. And I second guessed myself. 

It felt like a big responsibility is handed to me. And the critics within started to create an uproar in my head. 

I decided to tune in cos I heard a whisper – you are ready. 

Some of us have been good followers for many generations that we have forgotten how to be leaders. 

Only when the need arises, we rise (for me when I became single parent) .

But Is that enough? 

I kept questioning myself… 

Have I lead as myself, a woman, a student of life, a lover… in my everyday? 

Or did I blindly follow the “leaders” because I was afraid to make mistakes?

Will we turn a blind eye until our lives got affected or till our generations get annihilated? 

When will we rise to be the leaders? 

When will be the right time to rise as leaders? 

Great leaders make mistakes but they acknowledge their mistakes and learn/unlearn from them. 

I guess, whatever it is, I’m ready. I’m already a leader of my own life in my own way. 

I’m thankful that as a firstborn, there was no elder brother or sister to hold my hand to help me navigate life. 

Even my parents “experimented” their parenting style with me. First born are always the “guinea pigs” of our parents but we are also born leaders. 

I have to explore on my own, learn from role models and experimented with what information I gathered since young.

P. S: Together, let’s awaken our world by being our most authentic, joyous, abundant, loving selves. 

It’s OK, if you don’t belong to the crowd. Belong to yourself is enough. You are ENOUGH.

Be the unique you and shine. You matter. 

We matter. The world need us in our colourful truths. Stand strong. Rise bold. 

Don’t matter if there is anyone with you or supporting you or the fact that you felt unwanted or rejected. 

You don’t need permission to be you. You are a life warrior. Have courage to do what feels right to you.

Stop hiding in the shadows. Stop concealing your imperfections. 

It’s OK if you have unhealed wounds. Resolute to learn/unlearn, grow and heal them. We are all works-in-progress. 

Your existence is important and it is powerful. There is a great purpose/s in you being alive. 

Remember that. 

I may not know you but if I did, I know, I will love you. Because no matter what we are, we each deserved to be loved, seen, heard and matter.

This is what I believe. This is my truth. I’m Honouring it by sharing and spreading my message.
