Fear of failure or success?

I used to have a fear of success. And being an introvert does not help.

When I was young, I loved to achieve high marks for my tests and exams. It was a game to me. It was fun. And I wanted my parents to be proud of me.

But as my light shines so bright, it began to hurt others. And I don’t mean literally but physically and more.

My sibling got beaten up. My relatives’ kids got scolded and their parents often compared results with me. And they got shamed.

I was very sensitive as a child and I felt what these kids felt especially my brother. Why should he be abused for my good results? I don’t get it.

It was supposed to be a moment of joy for my family but my mom and brother often trembled in fear… pain was associated with my achievements.

I was asked to “tone down” my light by my mom.

There were other issues as well that popped up whenever I was happy with my achievements…and I didn’t realised how much I stay away from success, limelight or even going through the finish line (until I was in my 30s and went through warrior camps and other programs)…

It took me a lot of effort to stay away from being successful, powerful, famous and wealthy. Might as well I put that effort to great use and go with the flow of my birthright abundance, right? Right.

And other than mass programs, seminars and workshops, I still have to work on healing self. Healing is akin to peeling layers of onion skins … and I’m glad I started.

So if you have issues with success and limelight, maybe it’s not the fear of failure but the fear of success that is stopping you…

You can heal it on your own or with healers and likeminded Teachers…

Meditate. Ask, seek answers within… they will pop up…

I can also help you. Guide you to find the root of that success block.

We can together release and heal whatever traumatic experiences link to your understanding of success and more.

and now i believed that everyone should shine so bright (even if it seems to hurt others because they can wear their cool shades;) ….

because when they shine so bright they can remind others of their own wings of freedom…

And my favorite Author puts it well…

”Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
” -Marianne Williamson

(*child of God -depends on your beliefs. For me, I don’t believe in that but I believe the message she is communicating is very powerful as a whole. Thanks)
