WHQ 10KG Challenge – Warrior No. 2: Kahar Saidun

Country: Singapore vs Malaysia
WHQ 10 KG Challenge

Hi all my name is Kahar, here to make a difference in my life by joining this challenge and hopefully inspire others to do the same.

I am not used to writing so bear with me, ok? Lina has given us all guidelines…and I strive to be good writers like them: Zaf and Lina,  insya-Allah.

Ok, where do I start… oh yes, she said something about achievements.
Hmm…

At the age of 17, I became an apprentice to a Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Grandmaster in Kuala Lumpur and since became one of only two persons in the world to graduate from the Grandmaster.

I have also opened 3 training centers  under the Grandmaster’s banner in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Kuantan. One of my personal achievement which I looked forward to (weekly), is to personally teach 20 students in the Petaling Jaya Section 17 school.

I am currently a translator / intepreter with Perodua. The job requires me to put in 12 hours of work daily with minimal pay and my travel to and from work requires another 3 hours of daily time because of the efficiency of public transport here in Malaysia.

So I am left with 8 hours… to be spent on sleep, family time and to practice what I am most passionate about….which is…Wing Chun. Yes I practice with Zaf Abbas. We are students from the same master.

Well the picture tells a thousand words. I am not going to put my half naked picture in this site, so don’t ask, ok ? But underneath that,  is my “blob”.

In 2008, I had a brief brush with death due to an illness in which I  was born with and going to a major financial trouble resulting from the sickness…. Every event always come with a blessing.

I found and rediscovered my passion for Continuous Self Improvement, Traditional Chinese Martial Arts and most importantly teaching. This has prompted me to join seminars after seminars on Personal Development. I also received Train The Trainer Certification under T. Harv Eker’s Peak Potential Training and is a member of their Quantum Leap Program. That was when I met Lina, she was one of the awesome crew in Blaire Singer’s event in Singapore.

Well, I am 39, doctor says one of my knee is 90 years old, 16 hours of my time is spent outside my house, I have an illness I was born with which I would not wish on my worst enemy (if I had one). So, if I can do it,  any of you can do it ok !!!

I am also a strong believer of my life’s calling, which is the “Continuous Improvement of each individual in his ever growing circle of excellence”

Lahaulawala kuwwata illabilla hil aliyilazim. Haiya lalfalah!!!
Be awesome!
End.

Kahar Saidun.

Fyi-My weight is 73.3kg!! I’m not gonna whisper my weight like Lina *lol but I’m gonna shout out at the top of my lungs because I know this “blob” will disappear!
