Air Nipah-Remember my first road trip? I tasted the air nira kelapa (coconut water from coconut shoots) it smelled like dirty laundry and so when one of us actually bought it, I wasnt enthusiastic about tasting it, but this is different. Very refreshing, no bad smell. It was sweet and rejuvenating. It wasnt alcoholic or fermented. The man said they collect the water from this palm tree’s stem and they collect it naturally, no preservatives or anything added. And if there were rain water that enters, they need to discard the whole bucket away.
