Previously, we wonder whether Melleo’s place is HALAL after a reader commented that many muslims/malay patronise that place. After I sent an email, they reply promptly (thank u very much!)
Thank you very much for email. It is great to hear from you. The lights above has once again shines on green connection @ melleo’s place. Yes! we are applying for HALAL certification. Hopefully we will be able to obtain our HALAL certification by end of next month. The lateness is due to our manufacturing of our organic TEMPEH and our Healthy Chili Sauces. So far MUIS has came to check all our outlets and they were happy that we are doing in according to the requirements. Green Connection is 100% vegetarian and 30% organic without using garlic, onions and eggs. Yes it is 100% vegetarian, we are not to use any alcohol products or products containing alcohol and no animals products are to be present in any of our products. Our Products use are from new zealand, australia and taiwan. NO!NO! to china products for now. Ha!Ha!Ha! I hope I have answer your doubts. If you do have any more doubts, kindly email or contact me at 81881107.
You can also go to our other outlets at SUNTEC, EASTPOINT MALL and WEST COAST MALL- Melleo’s place (the place to be for family bonding with healthier food) We are certified by Health Promotion Board as a Healthier choice cafe and restaurante. Both of these three outlets mentioned are not 100% vegetarian. It’s a mixture of meat and meatless cuisine.
Do call me for any enquiries.
Thank you once again.
Peace be with you
