Bussorah Street Ramadhan Bazaar 2008

On the way, here I can here the roaring sounds of the F1 cars… Anyway caught up with the F1 fever, I saw a RED FERRARI car on the road (near beach road) and got excited. I also saw a “red bull” (decal) convertible (with its top rolled down) driven by a young lady. Wow! Too bad, cannot stop…

Somehow along the way, I saw many cars, all kinds of shapes and sizes and brands, all nicely done with their colourful racing brands stickers….I wonder how much they spent on their cars? hmm…

Anyway, my last stop for today…

Bussorah streets ….

This is some scary botak clown… Sabar Menanti has a buffet promotion…
THis year, I felt that there weren’t much choices. Last year, there were many briyani stalls, this year there were many kebab and naan stalls.

Popiah basah
Chicken rice, penyet rice…
Colourful quenching thirst drinks, House of lemang….
Fried bee hoon, fried fritters, vadai….
Lemang and malay dishes..
Char kuey and fish paste…
Kebab
I tried the lamb kebab here but ..err….taste is so-so.. Curry puffs and kueh…

No “coconut-milk” chendol ..a healthier choice!

Naan $1 per piece, look at those yummy looking red chicken (is it tandoori chicken?hmm..)

THat metallic cylindrical object is used to cook/burn those naan….

Last year, this year…long queue for this briyani..

Why were they crowding round this Bai Roti? Ohh…karipap ..indian karipap…mutton, potatoes or chicken. The famous ones are at Onan road. That reminds me of Bai roti selling yummy roti kaya on soft baguette..where are they?

The only thing I saw that were unique were: Kebab spaghetti, briyani bee hoon (last year also have) and that’s it…I did walk around the Arab street but it looked like a sleepy town just woken up…(around 5.30-6pm), not many stalls were open/ready at that time…
