Penang

Penang is a beautiful island. When I first step into this place, there is uncanny resemblance to Singapore. The towns, the names…all are familiar. Best of all , it is the birth place of Malaysian legend, P.Ramlee.

I stayed at the cititel: a 4 star hotel.(MYR$270) Quite clean and a great view. During school/public holidays, the hotel rate will increase. This hotel location if good for me.Penang is well known for its food and other than Gurney drive food, Nasi Kandar is veery fammous there. Cititel hotel is in Little India thus every step u take, u can see Kandar signboards everywhere.U’ll be spoilt for choices.

As for the view, I requested for the penang bridge view. I get to see both the sea and the city skycrapers view since I’m in high floor. The breakfast buffet is good too.

Bukit Bendera is one of Penang’s famous tourist attraction. but u got to wake up early to get the timing of ur choice and beat the Queue . I went too late thus did not get the chance to went up.Same goes for the petronas tower in KL.

Line clear nasi kandar is one of the famous kandar rice in Penang. There are also Yasin, Kayu, hamis kandaar and others….Kandar rice haven! So from this authentic Kandar rice birth place experience, I denotes that the closest to it is YASSEEN Nasi kandar in KL!

Will post food pics soon…
