After hearing about the Halal certification, well without further ado, I quickly hasten my pace towards the KOVAN Prima Deli. I often saw the long Queue for waffles and often wish that I could have a bite. Well, alhamdulillah, now I can! So let’s DO IT!
We are the 1st customer. I was told that the waffles often sold out here. And so I put my eagering tongue to a test. At 9.30am, I was there even when the waffles machine is not ready. The woman has to ask me to wait 5-10mins. But being a KIASU, I put my order first. The menu state there are 5 flavours of waffles, Blueberry, Chocolate, cheese , peanut, kaya. But to my dismay cheese is unavailable that day, so I ordered the other 4.
So I taste it..thick soft waffles YUMMY! I give 3.5 out of 5 STARS! Hot and fresh. Preferably if the skin is crispier and the filling (chocolate/blueberry..) is more. Love the chocolate and blueberry. Peanut is not bad but kaya , I dont really like it… too much egg..so muak (nausea)..Maybe too much waffles so MUAKs…hehehe!!
Did not try the pastries though cause its not ready yet..But I did see the cake..quite expensive and small if compared to SECRET RECIPES yummy CAKES (similar price)!! But I like the idea of order the cake and they deliver to ur door step. It can be A GREAT SURPRISE for someone too…
